Governance

Our district is governed by a five-member Board of Directors who are elected by the community to serve four-year terms. The Board sets policies, approves budgets, and oversees district operations to make sure we stay transparent and accountable. Meetings are open to the public in accordance with state law, giving residents a chance to hear updates and share input. Each year, the Board chooses officers from among its members to provide leadership. Through this work, the Board helps keep the district focused on safety, service, and the needs of our community.

Board Meetings

Our board meets every month on the third Tuesday at 4:00 pm at the TImber Cove Fire Station, unless stated otherwise.

The agendas for these regular meetings are posted 72 hours beforehand on this website, at the Timber Cove Fire Station, Community Library at Fort Ross School, and Fort Ross Store. For special meetings, the agendas are posted 24 hours ahead of time.
